026: a baby bioderma haul

_DSC4653bio
✿ bioderma micelle solution: £4.50-£9.99 here
✿ bioderma sebium pore refiner: £14.80 here

everytime i buy a bioderma dupe i always think 'i should have bought bioderma'. so, whilst i was in london (for the cath kidston safari launch) i went to the garden pharmacy in covent garden and purchased a bottle. unfortunately i could't find a 500ml bottle which was what i was after because for people that don't live close to london tracking bioderma down is still pretty hard.

i also picked up the bioderma sebum pore refiner because one of the biggest flaws in my skin is the size of my pores. in true regina george style 'my pores are huge' and it's started to really knock any confidence i had when it came to my skin. i haven't had the chance to use it yet because my skin is appalling at the moment and i'm just trying to get it back to normal - any recommendations for combination/sensitive skin?

  1. I've never heard anything about the Bioderma pore refiner... would be interested to hear how you get on with it. I also have an issue with my pores. I have used Clinique's products for pore minimising in the past and have found them to be really good.

    1. i hadn't either until i was in the pharmacy! but i did have a little read up on reviews and apparently it's quite good. i'll probably blog about it some time soon, i'm hoping to do a little more about skin care on miaou or never. ooh, i'll have to have a little look at that if the bioderma doesn't work!

  2. i use a mix of clarins and elemis plus la roche-posay. all three combined have helped my pores shrink and my skin clear up amazingly. I recommend the La Roche-Posay Duo Effaclar +, Elemis Lavender Face Mask and Papaya Peel, plus Clarins Orange Face Scrub which you can use every day :)

  3. Bioderma is amazing! I just love that lotion. My face is sensitive and this lotion helps a lot to care about my delicate skin, especially around my eyes. it removes masacara very well.

    Lovely new blog darling ;)

    1. i know, isn't it just? i didn't even think i had sensitive skin, but when i use other cleansing waters (especially around my eyes) it stings so much!

  4. I love the new blog Lily! Bioderma is really great but a bit on the pricey side, I'm going to try the L'Oreal micellar water next!

    1. thank you lovely! i do know what you mean! but i feel as though it lasts for quite a while so you don't have to repurchase it for a little while. however, i was getting through at least two of the l'oreal micellar waters in a month so it works out around the same price!

  5. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo and Avene Cleanance K have done wonders for my skin. All hail the French skincare gods. I use the effaclar duo in a morning before moisturiser/sunscreen as it dries matte and the cleanance K at night because you aren't supposed to use a moisturiser after it. After using the cleanance K for 1 week all of my closed comedones (under the skin bumps) were GONE from my cheeks. GONE. It was a miracle and really does clear out pores! x
